GAP Final Conference 2

GAP Final Conference 3

Final Conference in Brussels on April 30th

The Erasmus GAP Final Conference marked the closing event of the project and brought together 117 participants online from a wide range of European higher education institutions.

Researchers, decision-makers, and higher education practitioners from across Europe joined the event to explore the project’s key findings on inclusivity in student mobility. The conference showcased the main outcomes of Erasmus GAP, including the Inclusivity Toolkit and the Data Visualisation Platform, both designed to help reduce inequalities in access to Erasmus+ mobility opportunities.

The event encouraged active participation and dialogue throughout the programme. Participants were invited to reflect on key questions related to mobility and the barriers faced by underrepresented students, while dedicated discussion sessions created space for exchanging experiences and perspectives on equity, diversity, and inclusion in student mobility.

The conference concluded with the presentation of recommendations and practical guidelines aimed at supporting higher education institutions in building more inclusive systems and ensuring that mobility programmes better reflect the diversity of the student population.
